It has been made in the honour and for commemoration of the people who have defended their city during WW2. You can see the suffering in the faces of the statues. I wish peace will last forever.

Sombre monument & museum devoted to the WWII blockade of the city. For all the grandeur of the historic core, this is possibly the most important place to visit to understand St Petersburg today.

Russian federation orsoviet union, it's all about war and wining, so take a time to praise those brave men infront of the glorious monument!There is a museum inside in which you can watch a documentry

Küçük bir müze, üstündeki anıt baya görkemli. Otelimize yakın olduğu için gittik. Görülmesi çok şart bir yer olduğunu düşünmüyorum.
