It takes patience and a pair of tensed calf muscles to reach the Monastery, but it is definitely worth it. Maybe the most beautiful structure for all. Have a drink here and enjoy the view.

Donkey option in the way up is absolutely terrifying!! Walk better!! Animals are not in good shape, bad treated. Never again

I agree is beautiful, but it’s almost the same as the treasury. Be aware it’s a pretty long walk and tufff! 😵 not recommended for unfitted ppl, injured, tired, lazy lol. Think about it! Not again

Take water, wear sunscreen and maybe a hat. The hike is strenuous but take your time and persevere because it is definitely worth it! And go even a little further up for magnificent views!

Take the backdoor entrance and you won’t regret the choice - 45min great hike and get right on Monastery, then walk your way out to the main entrance (downhill)
