سردر باغ ملی، از بناهای به جا مانده از دوره قاجار میباشد که در سالهای ۱۳۰۱ تا ۱۳۰۴ نوسازی شده و اکنون یکی از نمادهای شهر تهران استپیش از بنیاد برج آزادی این دروازه به عنوان نماد شهر تهران یاد می شد
