It’s free, with fascinating exhibits on Irish history - bog people, mediaeval history, the Brian Boru legend. Spend half a quiet day here. All well laid-out.

I missed a bit more of information regarding the objects exposed, but overall is a really good experience.

Good selection of exhibits. Compared to the natural history museum around the corner it's more modern, with some excellent exhibits. Beautiful building, too.

It is a great place for people who are interested in Celtic culture and Irish ancient history. You also can find interesting things about ancient Egypt and Vikings.

The bog body exhibit in the gold gallery takes you back to the Iron Age and gives you a glimpse into the Irish world at the time.

It's free but boring. Go to the natural history museum instead for an amazing collection of animals. Both closed Mondays!

You have to love how the bog people exhibition hall leads to the museum cafe. Bon appétit indeed!
