A good, and inexpensive, cafe. Great walks. The other shops are a bit too pricy

Some people recommend the flapjacks others the ginger cake but whatever you go for the cafe at the visitor centre is a great place to stop to admire the view from the balcony and have refreshments

If you are staying on our holiday village you can avoid the busy A470 by cycling up past the Rhiw Goch Inn turning and taking the national Cycle Route 8 down into the Forest.
