Is this the best hostel Ottawa has to offer? Zero privacy. One bathroom for the whole floor. Flies everywhere. Beds don't even have personal charging stations.

This hostel is simply amazing ! Based in the old jail, right in the downtown. Make sure you take the jail tour they offer every day at 11am.

Great location!Shower could be better if it was not shared (men and women).Don't expect a good night sleep (too much noise and light from the doors's open bars and heavy metal material)

Definitely bring earplugs. It's cozy, the staff is super nice and breakfast is ok! Sadly, didn't see any ghosts. Maybe next time! 👻

Great location for an affordable stay in Ottawa, walking distance to the action and from the Rideau Canal. (Psst... Bring earplugs for a quiet sleep 😉)
