This place ticked all the boxes for us. Been twice. Modern but cosy rooms, lovely spa and fine dining food. Same estate as The Fish (cheaper, more active type stay) & Foxhill Manor (another level up).

Absolutely exquisite from start to finish, I can honestly say this was one of the best hotels/spas I have ever stayed in. Beautiful inside and out, amazing staff lead a 5* experience.

The restaurant is very special, but the bar is more cosy. Try the pork scratchings.
