If you want to be in the company of local dignitaries, stay at the Druk in Thimphu & check out the "private" room with the glass windows--today the Prime Minister, tonight the Queen Mother.

Make sure you get a window seat for the flight into #Bhutan. Flying at 30k ft & still the #Himalayan ridge is the same level as the plane!
