The hotel occupies an ideal location on lake Grasmere a short walk to the village.Rooms are clean and well designed Esp. Molton Brown suite; ideal destination to disconnect and breathe fresh air.

If you’re really thirsty I wouldn’t suggest sitting in the bar on the ground floor. You’ve got more chance of being struck by lightening than you have getting a beer here.

The thermal pool is terrific, perfect for relaxing after a day in the surrounding hills.

Great hotel in a good location in the Lake District. Very modern and relaxing in a serene place full of nature. Great combo. The internet is unsurprisingly slow and there are many blocks to sites.
