Upmarket hotel with great bar serving real ales. Large function room available for hire & ideal for office parties.

Avoid. Charcuterie platter which apart from unpleasant salami had salad filled with brown soggy lettuce.Sent back to receive a bowl with the same problem.Wife's salad also.Manager seemed not to care.

No water glasses in bedrooms and bring your own toiletries. Breakfast had no hams/cheeses as advertised, 2nd day of our stay they had no beans either.

Such a cute hotel!! Very charming. I love this place. Friendly staff, great food. Try the Sir John Gielgud Suite with two floors.

Had a great time, very old & cottagy, which adds to the charm, fab english breakfast, clean and friendly personnel, love it

Quite simply the grimest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Decor from the eighties, don't trust the website, only some rooms look like that. Hate
