Built in 1926, El Capitan theater is designated as LA cultural-historic monument. Although remodeled a few times, there's no lack of old school charm here. It's bursting with architectural details

“VIP” tickets are not worth the additional cost

The organ player before the movie was amazing. Not to mention the decor they had for the movie in the lobby. Sometimes they'll give out posters for the film. Sound is a bit funky since it's old?
