This library is very committed to providing safe space for everyone, including those who are experiencing homelessness. Local organizations like The Center do out reach to connect people to services.

The Goldwyn Special Collection is amazing. Movie posters, vertical files on movie stars of yore, screenplays, and theater programs -- you can find them all here. By appointment only, though.

Basically an interactive museum. CRT computer monitors, nowhere for me to charge my e-book and laptop simultaneously, and they have a public restroom. I'm going back to Silver Lake.

they keep the AC on blast and it's like a meat locker in here most of the time. Perfect for these hot summer days!

Safe? Yes. Smelly? Not really, the library is one of the only where the aforementioned homeless types have a chance to wash up. The real concern from this population is the noise.
