Go on a dry, warmer day, otherwise the animals tend to stay inside in the warm.

A focused collection of animals living in well thought out enclosures. Layout of the zoo is good with plenty of amenities.

Now I'm not a massive fan of zoos and wildlife parks as a rule - crowded, bit desperate looking, animals look miserable - BUT this place is so different. Great environment, lovely staff, happy animals
