If you don't have a clue what fish to buy , get a hamour and ask them to open it's gill, it has to be a bit red to indicate that it's fresh.

If u wanna try really "fresh" fish&shrimps come to the market after 5 p.m. Buy, clean and BBQ at the same place. Nice market, nice ppl, nice fish!
