The oldest bookshop in Luxor founded in 1909. The best choice of books on egyptology in English I've seen on my Egypt trip. The prices start at 20 USD. They work until late and accept cards.

Good selection of egyptolology books but mostly on the coffee-table book side. Some good finds of academic books are always possible though! Prices are higher and higher every year...
