Trains on Platform 1 don't go all the way down to the end of a platform. Wait just a little bit down from the main entrance to avoid having to walk further down to catch a train.

If you travel from Chichester to Brighton it is better to pop in to the first carriage. Closer to the exit in Brighton.

The timetable outside the station is wrong - ask at the ticket desk for late night train times. Usually cheaper to buy from them and not the machine. The cafe is not very nice - better across road.
