I am coming to Heraklion 1-2 times per year, I dare to say that until last year waiting to get boarded was a nightmare. I am happy to see that with the recent extension, the experience is much better.

Small Airport but Gateway to amazing Greek Island Crete.We had no problem with collecting luggage, check-in,refreshment, security.Everything went smoothly.Only cons are missing wifi and awful toilets!

Direkt vor dem Flughafen gibt's nen Automat mit Getränken und Schoki, Chips etc. => in den Shops, die 5 Meter weiter im FLGH sind, "koscht's" dreimal soviel.
