If you already have a ticket covering the Zurich City transportation you won't have to pay anything additional to enjoy the ride; Polybahn runs Mon-Fri from 06.45 to 19.15 and Sat from 07.30 to 14.00;

Un funicular con encanto que sirve de enlace entre la Bahnhof Zürich Stadelhofen hasta la zona de las Universidades. Es un trayecto corto pero bien merece la pena echar un vistazo a los alrededores.

be sure to use / buy yourself a valid / appropriate season / commutation ticket in the ticket machine. This morning (Thursday, June 10th) I saw 3 conductors checking for tickets in the upper terminus.

photobooth is exactly opposite of entrance of ground station on the other side of the building - right underneath the tracks.
