If you are visiting, purchase a visitor pass and you can hop-on, hop-off the metro rail for many tourist attractions.

The architecture here is unique! No tunnel lining was installed in this station. The architects and civil engineers decided to leave the rugged gneiss rock walls.

The deepest station in the MARTA system is the Peachtree Center Station which is located in a hard-rock tunnel, 120 feet (36 meters) beneath downtown Atlanta!

MARTA's best-looking station, bar-none. Be sure you know which side to exit on; the north and south exits are a long ways apart. (Most of the hotels, including Dragon*Con hotels, are to the north.)

Exit Harris/Peachtree West, turn right just outside the exit for the glass-covered walkway into AmericasMart -- air conditioned access to Westin and through Westin to Marriott, Hampton Inn, etc.
