東横線と日比谷線の乗り換えは15歩くらいで出来ますが、東横線からの場合目の前に電車がないパターンもあります。出口は山手通りに面した方と区役所側で2つあります。

渋谷止まりの各駅停車に乗っていて副都心線方面に行く場合は当駅での乗り換えを推奨される。渋谷には大抵反対のホームに入ってしまうため。
