Barcelona: A European centre of beach recreation and cultural life
The Spanish city of Barcelona is one of the most important tourist destinations of the European routes.
Here you can relax your body and soul. The city has a developed cultural life, and the entire coast line is occupied by well-kept beaches. The map of Barcelona is divided into 10 districts, the Old Town occupies a special place in the city guides. Here you'll find the Gothic district, where monuments from the times of the Roman Empire have been preserved.Places of interest in the city are diverse, it's a monument to 14th century architecture. The Barcelona Royal Shipyard, Barcelona Cathedral, an example of modernist architecture – Casa Batlló. Popular places are located on Montjuic Hill, which is one of the largest parks in Europe. There is also an open-air museum «Poble Espanyol». From the height of the hill you can see an excellent panorama of the city and the coastline.In Barcelona, there is a very good operating metro system, its network totaling 11 lines. Some lines go outside the city, connecting it with the suburbs. Public and tourist buses run around the city. The traffic never stops, even at night! There are several routes of the night bus Nitbus. The best viewing platforms are located on the nearest mountains – Montjuic and Tibidabo, where the tram line, funicular and cable car lead. For getting around in comfort, you can call a taxi or rent a car.

El Camp Nou és l'estadi del FC Barcelona des del 24 de setembre de 1957, quan es va inaugurar la instal·lació. Tot i que inicialment el seu nom era Estadi del FC Barcelona, a nivell popular ràpidament es va rebatejar com a 'Camp Nou', ja que l'estadi substituïa l'antic camp de Les Corts.
