You can take your dogs here... we took all three of ours;) although beware there is stairs & can sometimes be tricky if there's lots of people.

If you're wondering around the goal & intend to eat, make sure you reserve a table!! Fills up quick, they very kindly squished us in, but we were lucky.

Visit the old cells of Bodmin Jail. Also a good restaurant on site. Open all year.

You may find a torch handy, as it is very dark and sometimes hard to see everything especially the very informative signs about past residents of the jail (Gaol)
