Very friendly faculty and staff. Of course, as with any place, you'll find one or two that aren't the friendliest, but for the most part, a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The bookstore sells cans of soda/juice/tea for $0.50 (in the refrigerator immediately to your left as you walk in). :)
