If you're going to be visiting for a number of days, go to the estates/parking office on 1st floor & explain your predicament, and ask if they can issue a permit. Will save you plenty of pounds!

Parking is now charged 24 hours a day, £2.50 an hour minimum charge.

There's a few 30 minute free parking bays in the paid parking car park. They're along the side closest to A&E and signed as such. Good for picking up people.
