We have book the hotel (via Booking.com) 12 days in advance and, in the day we where flying to the hotel, they sent an email informing that our AMEX was not working.

They cancel our Booking.com reservation and we had to pay the "desk price". Finally, we've pay with the original AMEX that the hotel was telling that was not working. Be advised...

The staff is very poor and the organization behind them promotes it. They will cancel your booking.com reservation and make a direct one, more expensive, alleging that the credit card didn't work.

Be advised to double check your booking.com reservation (if made). We had a very bad experience with this Bastion Hotel.
