Bring a picnic! If it rains, there are marquees or (if you're early) large covered balconies on the opera house itself

Tickets sell out early, but don't despair. They usually have returns (sometimes weeks in advance), so call the box office to check. Plus you can sign up for a "returns" email, but phoning is better!
