Good "Sunday Dinner with Auntie" spot. Interesting historical exhibits outside like mill, working waterwheel, overhead sluice, logging tools. Crowded when the tour buses hit. Nat. Park gift shop.

Beautiful place. Be sure to go by during the season and watch Blacksmiths & other demonstrations including the Mill.

Don't worry if there's no parking off the parkway. There's a large parking lot behind the mill.

This is must for any Blue Ridge Parkway trip. Demonstrations worth checking out just as much as iconic view. Also, get the pancakes at the cafe. Best. Pancakes. Ever.
