Closed Tuesdays. And, you must have reservations for tour. Also main entrance closed under construction, you have to drive around to other road to enter. Google maps doesn’t know this.

Patrick was my tour guide and he was amazing. By far one of the most engaging and informative experiences me and the kids have ever had.

In the winter the lemurs stay inside. You can still see them (they're behind glass) but if I were to go back, I'd go in the summer.

Book your tour early to get a spot and be sure to ask the docents lots of questions to learn lemur trivia.

The Duke Lemur Center, the only one of its kind in the world, sits on 80 acres south of Duke University. For over 40 years, Duke scientists and veterinarians have monitored more than 230 lemurs daily.

The "walking with lemurs" tours are expensive but worth every penny! DO NOT miss your chance to go on one.
