This airport opens at 5:30 AM. Regardless of how early your morning flight is, it still only opens at 5:30 AM. So forget the 2 or 3 hour rule. It's a small airport with only one flight per day.

Airport has no X-ray so they will open ALL your bags when you check in. Don't secure your bags until you're past these inspections to save time and reduce stress.

Since the renovations of 2013, the terminal fee has been increased to 50 pesos. But now you can buy dispensed coffee for 5 pesos. You win some. You lose some.

Unica Hija restaurant along nursery dr. is a must try. Big servings at relatively low prices. They have a big wall screen forktv too.
