Get a taxi for 50000 kip flat rate! Don’t forget to ask for the drivers phone number so you can book your return back directly with him (vs. paying 25$ that hotels charge!)

Despite the tips saying there is no free WiFi on January 2018 there is WiFi available (reachable from immigration so you can use the internet while you wait).

Easy and well organized visa/customs process upon arrival. Sim cards available at exit of luggage carousel area.

Smaller airport, arrive at last minute for departure, not much to eat/do/shop. Very friendly and efficient service.

Surprisingly good little airport. Pretty quick passport control in and out. If you do visa on arrival you'll need $1.00 extra for the processing fee beyond the quoted rate by your embassy.

For Americans, bring $36 and a passport photo for the VOA ($35 visa, $1 bribe). Go outside to get a tuk tuk that is dropping people off. Cost should be 50,000 kip total to the night market.
