Best walk in the East Bay! This scenic lookout marks the start of the paved, stroller-friendly Nimitz Trail, an easy “hike” with shady spots. Great for family fun or impressing visitors with views.

Bring a jacket, even if it's a sunny day! On some of these trails, you go around a bend in the road and the wind hits you. Hard. You'll be glad to have something to bundle up in.

Hike! In the early evening, look out for small rabbits on the trails. Bring your own water here, faucets are few and far between.
