本日2019/02/11より新ホーム使用開始。利用客が大幅に増えて手狭になってきたため、大門方面ホーム(2番線)を独立分離させコンコースと出口も増設された。

The station is still easy to navigate but the construction has been ongoing for quite some time. Hoping to see what'll come of it soon.

This station is easy to navigate, although there is a lot of construction going on right now. If using the Niijima-bashi (bridge) gate, go left to the escalators, or face a mountain of endless stairs.

漢字で書くと「勝鬨」 。勝鬨橋のある場所にあった「勝鬨の渡し」が由来だが、「鬨」が当用漢字に入っていなかったため交書き表記である「勝どき」が使われることとなってしまった。
